Accountabilities:

    The CrowdStrike Engineer will be responsible for managing endpoint security operations, improving threat detection capabilities, and supporting incident response activities across enterprise environments. Key responsibilities include:

    • Deploy, configure, administer, and optimize the CrowdStrike Falcon platform across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.
    • Manage Falcon sensors, host groups, exclusions, prevention policies, detection rules, and security configurations.
    • Ensure endpoint protection policies align with organizational security standards and cybersecurity best practices.
    • Monitor endpoint security events, investigate suspicious activities, and respond to potential security threats.
    • Analyze and respond to malware, ransomware, phishing attempts, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
    • Perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation actions to improve endpoint security.
    • Support endpoint hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security improvement initiatives.
    • Investigate alerts generated through endpoint detection and response tools and conduct threat hunting activities.
    • Leverage threat intelligence and security analytics to identify emerging risks.
    • Support incident response processes, including containment, eradication, recovery, and documentation.
    • Integrate endpoint security platforms with SIEM, SOAR, and other enterprise security solutions.
    • Tune detection rules, reduce false positives, and improve security monitoring effectiveness.
    • Monitor endpoint health, sensor performance, and platform availability.
    • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, security reports, dashboards, and compliance evidence.
    • Support security audits and ensure alignment with internal policies and industry security frameworks.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate will have strong experience in endpoint security, threat detection, and cybersecurity operations, with hands-on expertise in managing enterprise security platforms. Required qualifications include:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
      • 4–8 years of experience in endpoint security, cybersecurity operations, or related security roles.
      • Hands-on experience with the CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR).
      • Strong understanding of endpoint security across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
      • Experience monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts and incidents.
      • Knowledge of malware analysis, threat detection techniques, endpoint hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
      • Experience working with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or similar solutions.
      • Familiarity with networking concepts, Active Directory, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
      • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash is an advantage.
      • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK Framework, Cyber Kill Chain methodologies, and threat intelligence concepts is preferred.
      • Experience integrating endpoint security solutions with SIEM, SOAR, and ITSM platforms is a plus.
      • Familiarity with cloud security environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is beneficial.
      • Experience with additional EDR platforms such as Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, or Carbon Black is advantageous.
      • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
      • Relevant certifications such as CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA), CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Responder (CCFR), CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CySA+ are preferred.
