Warehouse Technician Support

This position entails the preparation of orders to be shipped from the warehouse in exact compliance with customer requirements, government regulations and company policies in a safe and efficient manner.

Additional Information

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

This is a day shift position; scheduled hours may vary based on business needs.

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and vendors.

  • Process, prepare, package, and ship orders accurately
  • Organize stock and maintain inventory 
  • Inspect products and goods for damage or defects
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipments 
  • Organize warehouse space 
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately 
  • Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times 
  • Check, verify, and fill customer orders 
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations 
  • Pull Internal lab raw materials 
  • Sample pulling 
  • Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed 
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) 
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of Transportation of dangerous goods and programs such as RPRA
  • Performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Assisting with physical inventory counts as needed
  • Closing batch tickets and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Supporting daily warehouse/inventory operations as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to operate forklift, Raymond reach, pallet truck, and any other warehouse equipment

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience with shipping/receiving, order picking, and/or inventory systems.
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience in warehouse and inventory systems.
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience with RF scanners and computers
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience with inventory software, databases, and systems (incl. RF Scanners, etc.)
