Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in driving our growth by building relationships and bringing new customers for Intrepid Direct to serve.  This role is focused on new business development within defined franchise verticals. You’ll own your state territory, create your pipeline, and proactively connect with business owners, many of whom operate within brands and networks where Intrepid Direct already has a brand presence.

 

This is more of ‘warm’ outreach – as Intrepid Direct has partnerships and connections in most of the brands we target.   You’re not just making calls, you’re building recognition, trust, and momentum within a defined market.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Sell & Grow Your Business

  • Proactively engage business owners within targeted franchise brands and industries
  • Leverage existing brand presence and familiarity to create warm entry points
  • Generate new opportunities through disciplined, consistent outreach
  • Present tailored solutions with confidence, clarity, and professionalism
  • Meet and exceed activity and sales goals through strong execution
  • Partner with underwriting and internal teams to move opportunities forward
  • Build and manage a pipeline through consistent outbound activity (calls, emails, networking)

Learn & Build Your Foundation

  • Become licensed in Property & Casualty insurance and learn the business from the ground up
  • Develop an understanding of how to effectively sell within franchise-based industries
  • Learn how to clearly communicate Intrepid Direct’s value across different verticals
  • Gain exposure to the full insurance lifecycle by shadowing sales leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Participate in structured training across both sales methodology and insurance coverage
  • Build your ability to assess prospect operations, risks, and insurance needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred
  • Property & Casualty Insurance license or the ability to pass P&C exam within first 60 days
  • Track record of success
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to learn CRM tools
