This senior-level position is responsible for process design, projects management, credit enablement, as well as problems solving where in depth analysis is required. You will be instrumental day to day performance monitoring and prioritization and in safeguarding Citigroup's reputation and assets by ensuring robust data quality, monitoring credit exposure, identifying and escalating deficiencies, and proposing strategic solutions in alignment with our comprehensive credit policies.Key Responsibilities:Operational Excellence: Effectively, accurately, and timely coordinate and deliver the best service for the Bank’s clients, upholding the highest standards of operational efficiency.Drive Internal Controls: Design, coordinate and actively manage Internal Control responsibilities across various control disciplines, with a primary focus on enhancing Risk and Credit Data Aggregation and Reporting within the Institutional Credit Management (ICM) organization.Credit Enablement and advisory: Analyze complex credit structures and deliver accurate solutions.Lead Remediation Projects: Manage and contribute to global remediation projects, ensuring timely and effective resolution of data quality issues across credit products.Ensure Data Quality: Proactively manage business-as-usual tasks related to data quality for credit products, ensuring high standards and efficient operations.Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and diagnose the underlying causes of data quality problems, providing expert advice and recommending corrective actions.Collaborate for Success: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Operations - Services and Technology, to deliver efficient and timely solutions for complex issues.Data Interpretation & Strategy: Develop, analyze, and interpret data from risk systems to provide insightful comparable analyses, recommending strategic options and courses of action.Risk & Compliance Stewardship: Appropriately assess and mitigate risk in all business decisions, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the firm's reputation. Ensure strict compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to company Policy, apply sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.Qualifications:Experience: 5 years + of demonstrable experience in credit operations, data management, risk analysis, or a related field within financial services.Industry Acumen: Working knowledge of financial industry standards, best practices, and regulatory landscapes.Project Management: Proven records of participation in projects/change management – contributor and coordinator.Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data, coupled with a working knowledge of various data analysis tools and methodologies.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Communication: Consistently exhibits clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills.Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.Education:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent professional experience.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
