The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication organization has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager and Site Leader in Salt Lake City, UT.
The selected candidate will serve as the primary strategic Human Resources partner for the Boeing Salt Lake site as well as providing HR Leadership to the Supply Chain and Fabrication HR team at Boeing South Carolina. This role is responsible for aligning site-level people strategy with business objectives, supporting site leadership, and driving execution of HR initiatives across talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and culture. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor, collaborative leader, and change agent who can influence senior leaders and deliver measurable business impact.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary HR business partner to the Salt Lake site leadership team
Lead site-level HR strategy and execution in alignment with Boeing enterprise and business unit objectives
Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement
Partner with leadership to build and maintain a high-performing, and values-based culture
Provide coaching and consultation to managers on employee relations, performance management, compensation, and policy interpretation
Lead or support complex employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution with sound judgment and confidentiality
Analyze workforce trends, engagement data, and site metrics to identify risks and opportunities
Drive change management efforts related to site initiatives, restructures, growth, or operational transformation
Collaborate with HR COEs and shared services to deliver integrated HR solutions
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and Boeing standards
Support leadership development and capability building across the site
Influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations and strong business acumen
Represent HR in site leadership meetings and act as a key advisor on people-related matters
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Human Resources
5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
3+ years of experience in leading change management and process improvement activities at a business unit or enterprise level
3+ years of experience in staffing/hiring plans
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
Experience leading teams and direct reports
Experience using data driven analysis/ AI tools to make business decisions
Experience in HR business partnering, employee relations, or generalist HR leadership
Experience supporting senior leaders and managing complex organizational issues
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR practices, and compliance requirements
Proven ability to lead through influence, build trusted relationships, and handle sensitive issues with discretion
Experience in workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
