The Manager of Central Intake will have responsibility, authority and accountability for all intake functions for Memorial Home Medical Supply customers. The incumbent assures the workflow and care of customers is in accordance with Memorial Home Medical Supply policies, procedures and standards of care. This position provides administrative oversight and coordination with the functions of customer service, medical documentation review, insurance authorization, and other teams that are involved with ensuring all payer requirements are met for sending claims. This role will also have direct oversight of the retail functions for Memorial Home Medical Supply. Coordination of services with physicians, referring hospital and facility discharges and other ambulatory services is imperative. Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a health or business-related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ leadership/management experience required, preferably in home medical equipment business line.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Familiarization and understanding with Federal, state, and commercial insurance plans preferred
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, leadership and training skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and exceptional skills in both verbal and written communications.
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Possess analytical skills and ability to initiate new ideas and processes.
- Basic personal computer experience, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn and troubleshoot web-based platforms for business needs.
