Join Operations Control Management (OCM) team to help ensure a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment. You will partner with the business to identify and escalate control issues, drive timely remediation, and support governance, training, and control initiatives that strengthen the culture of controls.



As an Operations Control Management analyst within the APAC Market Operations team, you will proactively identify and escalate issues with a sense of urgency and partner with the business to drive timely remediation. You will support the line of business control environment through top-down risk analysis, control issue detection and escalation, root-cause analysis, and remediation tracking. You will perform quality assurance testing, maintain accurate management information reporting, support centralized governance communications, deliver risks and controls training, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through approved automation tools.



Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining management information (MIS) reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing for operational implementation according to the testing steps outlined in the SOP in a timeline manner.
  • Record testing progress, outcomes, and observations in MIS upon completion of testing.
  • Coordinate with action owners to monitor remediation progress and ensure timely remediation closure.
  • Identify manual, high-effort processes suitable for automation and leverage approved automation and AI tools to improve efficiency, increase productivity, reduce errors, and mitigate operational risk.
  • Support the Central Operations Control Management (OCM) team in executing operations control priorities and strategy.
  • Partner with Line of Business control managers to lead end-to-end operating environment reviews, including control design, enhancement, validation, and documentation.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with ability to review, question, and challenge end-to-end processes and implement enhanced control methods.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficiency in Mandarin to work with China stakeholders.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services, with background in operations, controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance.
  • Familiarity with automation and data visualization tools.
  • Experience working with global teams, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
