Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy machine learning models with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, and AI-driven applications.
- Build Generative AI solutions using technologies such as RAG, AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning approaches.
- Develop and optimize AI architectures for Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, document understanding, conversational AI, and question-answering systems.
- Collect, preprocess, analyze, and transform data to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decisions.
- Apply statistical methods, feature engineering, and supervised/unsupervised learning techniques to solve complex problems.
- Create and improve reusable AI tools, modeling pipelines, and frameworks to enhance development efficiency.
- Work with open-source and commercial AI models, including LLMs from various providers, adapting solutions to specific business needs.
- Translate business requirements into effective AI/ML solutions and communicate technical recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with research teams, engineering teams, and external partners to build end-to-end AI solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, guide team members, and independently manage AI projects from concept through implementation.
- Drive knowledge sharing through clear documentation, presentations, data visualization, and technical discussions.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Generative AI specialist.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing Generative AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of LLM technologies, including open-source models and commercial AI platforms.
- Experience with RAG architectures, AI agents, vector databases, guardrails, and LLM fine-tuning techniques such as PEFT, LoRA, and QLoRA.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar AI development tools.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
- Knowledge of NLP frameworks and tools including NLTK, SpaCy, Gensim, OpenNLP, CoreNLP, and transformer-based models.
- Experience working with models such as BERT, ELMo, XLNet, Phi models, or similar transformer architectures.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, NLP techniques, and predictive modeling.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with API frameworks and tools such as Flask, FastAPI, Swagger, or Postman is a plus.
- Ability to independently lead technical projects, influence stakeholders, and turn ideas into practical AI solutions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience in mobility, healthcare, or other technology-driven industries is considered an advantage.
