Accountabilities:
- Manage overall account relationships by providing strategic support, service, and guidance to assigned customers.
- Develop and execute customer strategies to increase sales, improve margins, and grow market share.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, customer engagement, and account development.
- Promote value-added solutions by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Analyze market conditions, competitive landscapes, and customer requirements to support effective sales decisions.
- Manage supply chain-related opportunities, including solution-based offerings, excess inventory opportunities, and related services.
- Partner with internal teams to generate customer referrals and maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer account information, assignments, and database integrity.
- Collect and process customer opportunities and excess inventory information.
- Organize account reviews, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree with approximately 5 years of related experience, advanced degree without experience, or equivalent professional experience.
- Must be located in the Montreal, Quebec area.
- Previous sales, inside sales, cold calling, or prospecting experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, persistent, goal-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of results.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and effectively communicate value propositions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with customers and internal teams.
- Strong Excel skills, particularly for candidates without previous industry experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
