Accountabilities:
- Lead site contracting strategies and execution activities for assigned global clinical studies.
- Act as the primary contracting interface for sponsors, participating in meetings across multiple time zones and ensuring alignment on objectives.
- Manage relationships with sponsors, project leadership, and global site contract teams to drive efficient contract negotiations.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and escalation support to project-assigned site contracting teams.
- Develop and assess investigator budgets, ensuring alignment with study protocols, country requirements, market practices, and sponsor expectations.
- Manage timelines, risks, and operational challenges related to contract execution.
- Support negotiation processes by interpreting complex contractual terms and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the study lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to improve contracting processes, efficiency, and overall project delivery.
- Ensure quality standards and compliance requirements are maintained throughout all contracting activities.
- 3–5 years of experience in site contracting or a closely related role within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) or clinical trial environment.
- Experience managing clinical trial timelines, budgets, and external client relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to interpret, explain, and manage complex contracts.
- Proven ability to lead discussions with sponsors and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative, resilient, and diplomatic approach when working under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, budget calculations, and financial analysis.
- Experience working within global clinical trials and multinational contracting environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
