Role Purpose

To service, repair, and optimize irrigation systems to ensure water efficiency and proper turf and landscape hydration.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Daily

• Complete irrigation turn-ons, mid-season checks, repairs, and blowouts
• Diagnose electrical, valve, controller, and coverage issues
• Document findings, repairs, and recommendations in RealGreen
• Communicate clearly with customers on-site when needed

 

Weekly

• Coordinate parts needs with Irrigation Director
• Provide irrigation upgrade recommendations

 

Seasonal

• Spring: system activations, pressure checks
• Summer: repairs, inspections, installs
• Fall: blowouts and winterization, installs

 

Performance Standards

First-time fix rate: 80%+

<3 misdiagnosis callbacks/month

100% documentation compliance

On-time arrival to scheduled windows

 

Boundaries

CAN: diagnose, recommend upgrades, perform repairs

CANNOT: set pricing, sell new irrigation programs (handled by Irrigation Coordinator/Sales)

Requirements

This role is located within the Kansas City Metro area.

Candidates must hold a valid drivers license & pass a background check.
