As a Laundry Finisher, you’re not just collecting and cleaning linens – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Maintains constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. Performs all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering. Cleans laundry machinery and laundry area. Counts and records laundry statistics for laundry inventories.

What will I be doing?

As a Laundry Finisher, you are responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel.  You will perform all stages of linen processing including; collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering.  You will also maintain laundry machinery and laundry area, count and record laundry statistics for laundry inventories.

You will also be required to manage and respond to guest requests. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
-    Collecting guest linen into laundry bins and transports carts to laundry area
-    Transporting empty bins from Laundry to chute area
-    Ensuring the Laundry area is clean, neat and organized
-    Washing guest linens
-    Reporting maintenance and hazard issues
-    Complying with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
-    Using the towel folder or manually folding towels
-    Using the sheet ironer and finishing sheets
-    Folding all other pieces of linen
-    Packing carts with the appropriate linen and towels
-    Keeping the area clean
