Global Fashion Agenda is looking for a motivated and structured intern to support the Communications & Content team across a range of initiatives that inform, engage and inspire the fashion industry towards a more sustainable future. This full-time internship begins in August or September and lasts 5-6 months. The internship will take place at the GFA office in Copenhagen. 

You will assist the Communications & Content team, contributing to activities spanning creative content development, communications, PR and educational initiatives. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will support research, writing, stakeholder coordination and the delivery of cross-functional projects that help advance GFA's mission and impact.

Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in a higher educational institution (Bachelor's or Master's) and are interested in developing your professional skills through practical experience.
  • You have an understanding of sustainability topics within the fashion industry and a passion for social and environmental sustainability, storytelling, and making knowledge accessible to different audiences.
  • You are interested in communications, content and media, and enjoy researching and synthesising information.
  • You have strong writing skills and can translate complex ideas into engaging content across different formats and audiences.
  • You are highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments.
  • You have flawless English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • You are an enthusiastic and sociable team player with a positive outlook.
  • You are proficient in Mac, Outlook, Google Workspace, Zoom and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams).
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp, Adobe Photoshop and project management tools is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and delivery of cross-functional initiatives across Communications, Content and Education programmes, including preparing briefing materials, templates and toolkits.
  • Research and develop engaging content on key sustainability topics, including articles, newsletters, social media content, learning materials and other written assets.
  • Assist with PR activities by supporting press requests, maintaining media lists and coverage reporting.
  • Assist with uploading and maintaining content across GFA's digital channels, including the website and newsletters.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of education initiatives, including masterclasses, tailored resources and GFA’s youth-advocacy programme, the Next Gen Assembly.
