Remote Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure & Acquisition

Role responsibilities

The Software Engineer will identify and acquire new audio data sources for the ingestion pipeline and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform. They will also collaborate with scientists to optimize data quality, cost, and throughput.

Requirements

Candidates should have a BSc/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of industry software development experience. Proficiency in bash/Python scripting, Docker, and cloud infrastructure is required, with additional experience in web crawlers and large-scale data workflows being a plus.
