Role responsibilities

Individuals are responsible for performing diagnostic and analytic testing on human specimens to produce reliable data for patient care. They must demonstrate competencies specific to populations served and participate in all aspects of clinical laboratory testing.

Requirements

Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a NAACLS accredited program in Medical Technology or a related field, with certification eligibility. They must also maintain ongoing certification if newly certified after specified dates.
