  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to identify reusable opportunities and evolve the design system to support emerging product needs.
  • Review and guide design system contributions from product designers, ensuring a high standard of quality.
  • Champion the design system by educating and enabling teams, driving adoption, gathering feedback, and continuously improving the system.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design, including at least 2 years of dedicated, hands-on experience designing and evolving design systems.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining design systems, with a track record of solving complex design challenges through scalable solutions.
  • Strong visual and UI design skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including library management, complex component architecture, and variables.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to translate product needs into reusable patterns and scalable solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across Design, Engineering, and Product teams.
  • Experience collaborating with engineers to bring design system components from concept to implementation. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Git, and Visual Studio Code is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, problem-solving approach, outcomes, and measurable impact is required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing accessible experiences and familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
