Accountabilities:
- Define and own the technical architecture of the design system, including component libraries, token structures, tooling, and adoption strategy across teams.
- Build and evolve frontend infrastructure that supports scalability, including testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and visual regression systems.
- Design component APIs and developer workflows that improve how engineers and AI coding agents build consistent, production-ready interfaces.
- Improve frontend quality across performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and interaction design standards.
- Establish and evangelize frontend best practices, ensuring consistency and maintainability across multiple product teams.
- Collaborate closely with design and product stakeholders to influence early product and system decisions, balancing technical constraints and user experience.
- 3+ years of experience in frontend engineering with significant ownership of architecture, systems, or platform-level work.
- Proven experience building or evolving a design system used across multiple teams or products.
- Strong expertise in modern frontend technologies, including TypeScript and component-based architectures (e.g., React or similar frameworks).
- Deep understanding of frontend quality dimensions such as performance optimization, accessibility, and UX consistency.
- Strong product sense and design awareness, with an eye for detail and user experience quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working across engineering, design, and product teams.
- Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development workflows and interest in shaping how AI interacts with frontend systems.
- Nice to have: experience with React, Storybook, and data visualization tools such as D3, visx, or Chart.js, as well as experience in B2B SaaS or data-rich applications.
- Competitive salary range of $160,000 – $270,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
