We are looking for a skilled Passive Network Engineer to handle passive networking infrastructure, execute end-to-end projects, and represent in client-facing meetings and technical discussions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute passive networking infrastructure projects (structured cabling, fiber optics, patch panels, racks & enclosures)
- Carry out site surveys and prepare passive network layouts and BOQs
- Oversee installation of Cat6/Cat6A/fiber cabling, terminations, and testing
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end project execution — timelines, vendors, and on-site teams
- Attend client meetings and handle technical discussions related to passive infrastructure
- Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and handover documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in passive networking and infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems — copper (Cat6/6A) and fiber (OM3/OM4/OS2)
- Hands-on experience with cable testing tools (Fluke, JDSU or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with clients and vendors
- Good communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions
- Familiarity with standards: TIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801, BICSI guidelines
