Manager Environmental Health & Safety
What You'll Do
As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for leading all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Fire Prevention activities across our Slovakia operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, support continuous improvement, and help create a workplace where safety is embedded in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Drive a strong safety culture through training, coaching, and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Slovak, European, and corporate EHS requirements.
- Lead incident investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee environmental programs, including waste management, emissions monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
- Manage internal and external audits while ensuring continuous inspection readiness.
- Support occupational health programs, ergonomic improvements, and industrial hygiene initiatives.
- Drive sustainability and ESG projects, including energy efficiency and environmental improvement programs.
- Collaborate with employees, leadership teams, regulatory authorities, and external partners.
- Manage EHS budgets, performance metrics, and strategic improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, industrial safety, risk assessment, and emergency management.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Fluent Slovak and professional English communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using EHS management systems and reporting tools.

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Nové Mesto nad Váhom locality is between 33 700€ to 42 174€ gross per year —salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities. In addition to the salary listed above, a detailed overview of additional compensation, including bonuses and benefits, will be provided during the initial interview.
