Do you have the business savvy with clear hunting and farming capabilities and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider? As an Enterprise Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology by increasing the adoption and market segment presence of AWS. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales / account management and also a technical background that enables him/her to drive an engagement at the executive level, business side of clients as well as with software developers and IT architects. The ideal candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
Help to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory in the 'Financial Services industries' for Insurance or Banking Clients.
Develop and execute against a business plan, meet or exceed your quarterly targets.
Win and manage a set of Key Accounts concurrently & strategically.
Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and related regulatory requirements
Accelerate customer adoption.
Work with partners to extend reach & drive the AWS adoption.
Articulate AWS’ value and influence on market trends such as digitalization, , IoT, DevOps, data analytics and cloud/business transformation up to C-Level.

- Experience creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German
- Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to Enterprise Customers
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership

Basic qualifications
- Experience as a quota-carrying technology field sales professional with a proven track record of success selling complex cloud solutions to large enterprises within Financial Services- Experience creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German
- Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to Enterprise Customers
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field- Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership
