As our portfolio evolves and we prepare for the next generation of opportunities, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner who can help shape the decisions that will position these markets for future success.

This is a role for someone who enjoys looking beyond the next forecast, bringing financial insight, commercial understanding and strategic thinking to support business decisions today while helping prepare for what comes next.

As Finance Business Partner for Italy and Iberia, you will work alongside Country General Managers and Leadership Teams to support strategic decision-making across two well-established affiliates.

Your role will be to ensure today's performance remains strong while helping the organization prepare for future portfolio evolution, changing market dynamics and the opportunities that lie ahead.

Through robust financial planning, insightful analysis and close partnership with the business, you will help create the conditions for sustainable long-term success.

 

Your responsibilities

Partner the Business

Act as the strategic Finance Business Partner to the General Managers and Leadership Teams across Italy and Iberia.

Build trusted relationships that enable constructive challenge, informed debate and better business decisions.

Provide financial perspectives that help leaders balance ambition with disciplined execution.

 

Shape Strategic Planning

Lead the financial planning process across both affiliates, translating business priorities into robust financial strategies.

Develop annual plans, forecasts and long-range outlooks that support sustainable growth while adapting to an evolving external environment.

Ensure financial planning remains aligned with both affiliate priorities and International objectives.

 

Guide Investment Decisions

Support the evaluation of commercial opportunities, market access scenarios and strategic investments that strengthen the long-term performance of the business.

Provide clear financial analysis that enables leadership to prioritise resources effectively and maximise value creation.

 

Prepare for Tomorrow

Work closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Brand Teams to help prepare the affiliates for future portfolio evolution.

Develop scenario planning and financial assessments that position the organization to respond confidently to changing market conditions and future opportunities.

 

Deliver Insight That Drives Action

Transform financial data into meaningful business intelligence.

Provide analysis that enables leadership teams to understand performance, identify trends, anticipate risks and make confident strategic decisions.

Present complex financial information with clarity, supporting executive discussions and business planning.

 

Connect Finance Across the Organization

Collaborate closely with International Finance, Shared Services and Corporate Functions to ensure consistency, compliance and operational excellence.

Serve as the financial bridge between local affiliates and International Headquarters, ensuring alignment while remaining responsive to local business needs.

 

Champion Financial Stewardship

Maintain the highest standards of governance, compliance and financial integrity across all areas of responsibility.

Oversee statutory reporting, transparency reporting, Gross-to-Net management, tax, VAT, audit activities and financial controls while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and strengthen operational efficiency.

 

What You will Bring

  • Significant experience in Finance within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or broader life sciences industry.
  • Proven success partnering with senior business leaders in a strategic Finance Business Partner role.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, performance management and business analysis.
  • Experience supporting commercial organizations, portfolio planning and investment decision-making.
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate financial complexity into practical business recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; an MBA, CPA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Italian is required; Spanish would be an asset.

Pay Range

EUR €110,000.00 - EUR €150,000.00 /Yr.
