Role responsibilities

The Damage Prevention Specialist works as a liaison to homeowners and contractors, ensuring safe dig practices according to 811 dig law. Responsibilities include visiting job sites, facilitating gas marking corrections, and performing quality checks on utility markings.

Requirements

Experience with locating gas utilities is a plus, but not required. A valid driver's license and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are necessary.
