What we need
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Quality Data Analytics team within the Quality organization. This role is responsible for developing data analytics solutions, dashboards, and statistical analyses that support product quality, reliability, repair operations, manufacturing, and field performance. The position partners closely with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid position that requires the selected candidate to work from our Wilmington, MA location 3–5 days per week.
What we do
As part of the Manufacturing organization, the Quality team ensures Symbotic products and processes meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer requirements while complying with industry standards. By partnering cross-functionally across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Test teams, they embed strong quality practices, quality planning, defect prevention, and process validation early in the product lifecycle - from prototype through production. Encompassing product, site, manufacturing, and supplier Quality, the team actively uses product and field data to drive continuous improvement, maintaining consistency in the production of automated systems and robots to ensure reliable product launches and optimal system performance.
What you'll do
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and SQL to support quality, reliability, service, manufacturing, and field operations.
Perform statistical analysis, reliability modeling, and hypothesis testing to evaluate product performance, component reliability, warranty trends, and repair effectiveness.
Develop automated reporting solutions and data pipelines using SQL, Snowflake, and other enterprise data platforms to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Analyze repair center, manufacturing, supplier, and field performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Operations to define KPIs, develop analytics solutions, and support strategic decision-making.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying statistical methods, process analysis, and data visualization techniques while performing other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, quality analytics, reliability engineering, or related analytical roles.
Strong experience with SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, Microsoft Excel, and relational databases.
Experience performing statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, reliability analysis, and data visualization.
Experience working with large datasets and developing automated reporting solutions for engineering or manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and business stakeholders.
Experience with Python, R, or JMP is a plus.
Familiarity with SAP, Jira, and cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, or 8D is a plus.
Our Environment
This is a hybrid position that requires the selected candidate to work from our Wilmington, MA location 3–5 days per week.
Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $82,000.00 - $113,300.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
