The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining daily supply chain operations across one or more functional areas, including materials planning, production, inventory management, logistics, demand management, customer service, and order fulfillment. The role ensures supply and demand alignment, optimizes inventory and planning parameters, and drives operational excellence to meet internal and external customer expectations. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers, the Supply Chain Planner leverages planning systems, analytics, and continuous improvement methodologies to deliver reliable supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute daily supply chain activities across materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain planning system strategies that improve planning accuracy and generate consistent supply chain signals.
- Monitor, review, and optimize planning parameters to support inventory optimization and supply continuity.
- Analyze supply chain performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify potential supply chain risks, material shortages, capacity constraints, and planning exceptions, and proactively implement mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, manufacturing teams, procurement, logistics, suppliers, and customers to resolve planning issues and improve supply chain performance.
- Utilize materials planning systems and analytical tools to manage supply and demand plans while performing root cause analysis on planning exceptions.
- Support engineering change management by evaluating and implementing part changes, new part introductions, supersessions, and obsolescence plans while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Apply Plan for Every Part (PFEP) principles to improve material flow, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation planning, and master data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain master production schedules that balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, procurement schedules, and operational efficiency.
- Leverage advanced planning and business intelligence tools to support inventory optimization, parts availability analysis, and decision-making.
- Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, operational performance, and supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable export control or regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in supply chain planning, material planning, inventory management, procurement, or related supply chain functions.
- Experience working with external suppliers and cross-functional global teams.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes, inventory optimization, demand and supply planning, production scheduling, and logistics operations.
- Experience using ERP and supply chain planning systems, with knowledge of Kinaxis preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, advanced planning tools, and analytics platforms is desirable.
- Knowledge of Materials Planning Systems, Master Supply Scheduling, PFEP methodology, Part Change Control Management, and Materials KPI Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management (such as APICS/ASCM, CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent) are advantageous.
