About the team
The Enterprise team at Airwallex partners with some of the most ambitious and complex businesses in the market. We work closely with customers to understand their commercial goals, operational workflows, and growth ambitions, then help them unlock more value from the Airwallex platform.
This role will sit within our Hong Kong Enterprise team, with a strong focus on Payment Acceptance and Point of Sale use cases. You will work with customers across onboarding, adoption, growth, and ongoing account development, while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, Strategy, and other internal teams to deliver strong customer outcomes.
About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager to support and grow a portfolio of Enterprise customers in Hong Kong.
This is a post-sales commercial role for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, driving product adoption, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. You will help customers maximise the value they get from Airwallex, especially across Payment Acceptance and POS-related use cases, while acting as a trusted partner through ongoing business needs, operational challenges, and expansion opportunities.
This role is well suited to someone with 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, partnerships, or a related client-facing commercial role within fintech, payments, SaaS, or technology.
What you’ll do
Manage and grow a portfolio of Enterprise customers in Hong Kong, building strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders
Drive adoption and ongoing usage of Airwallex products, with particular focus on Payment Acceptance and POS solutions
Understand each customer’s business model, payment flows, operational setup, and growth priorities to identify opportunities for deeper product utilisation
Partner with customers through onboarding, implementation, go-live, and post-launch optimisation
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across the Airwallex product suite
Monitor account health, usage trends, and commercial performance to proactively address risks and unlock growth
Act as the voice of the customer internally, sharing structured feedback with Product, Operations, and other teams to improve customer experience
Coordinate cross-functional support for customer issues, escalations, and strategic initiatives
Build trusted relationships with both business and operational stakeholders across customer organisations
Maintain strong account discipline through portfolio reviews, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and regular business reporting
What success looks like
Strong adoption and sustained usage of Payment Acceptance and POS solutions across your customer portfolio
High levels of customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention within assigned Enterprise accounts
Consistent identification and conversion of expansion opportunities
Clear account plans, healthy portfolio management, and strong commercial visibility across your book of business
Effective cross-functional collaboration that helps resolve customer issues and improves overall customer outcomes
Credibility with customers as a trusted commercial partner who understands their business and helps them grow
What you’ll bring
5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, business development, partnerships, or another customer-facing commercial role
Experience working with B2B customers in fintech, payments, SaaS, e-commerce, or a high-growth technology environment
Good understanding of payment products, acquiring, payment acceptance, POS, or adjacent commerce solutions is highly preferred
Strong relationship management skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders across customer organisations
Commercial acumen and the ability to balance customer value, retention, and growth outcomes
Strong problem-solving ability, with a practical and proactive approach to customer needs and issue resolution
Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
High ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus
