Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Night Receptionist to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportuny for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
As a Night Receptionist, you will provide refined overnight front‑of‑house service, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless, secure, and distinguished experience from arrival through departure. You will also complete all night audit procedures with precision and discretion.
As a key contributor to guests’ first and lasting impressions, the Night Receptionist is expected to perform all responsibilities to the highest standards of ultra‑luxury hospitality, including:
- Resolving guest enquiries efficiently while achieving consistently positive outcomes
- Delivering an exceptional overnight reception experience, including check‑in, check‑out, and completion of all audit procedures as required
- Keeping the Night Manager and Night Reception Supervisors fully informed of guest feedback and any operational matters arising overnight
- Demonstrating impeccable service standards and professional conduct at all times
- Participating in required training and supporting the development of the Night Team
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and hotel offerings to confidently support daily operations
- Maximising room occupancy through refined upselling techniques and promotion of hotel services and facilities
- Processing foreign currency, credit card, and cash transactions accurately and in accordance with hotel credit policies
- Operating front‑of‑house equipment and property management systems in full compliance with company policies and procedures
- Upholding all company brand and service standards
- Supporting other departments as required to ensure seamless hotel operations
What are we looking for?
Night Receptionists representing Hilton’s luxury brands consistently act in the best interests of our guests while collaborating closely with fellow Team Members. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Previous experience within a customer‑focused or service‑driven environment
- A positive, calm, and professional demeanour with strong communication skills
- A genuine commitment to delivering personalised, high‑touch guest service
- Impeccable grooming and presentation standards
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- A competent level of IT and systems proficiency
- Flexibility and availability to work overnight shifts
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience handling cash and financial transactions
- Prior experience within a luxury or ultra‑luxury hospitality or service‑led environment is highly desirable.
