About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Computing and Infrastructure Engineer to support advanced computing systems and platform technologies for next-generation products.

This role focuses on deployment, troubleshooting, and operation of computing and infrastructure environments, including servers, virtualization, and cloud-native platforms, ensuring reliable and scalable performance across global customer sites.

Our Group:

The Software GPS (Global Product Support) group is responsible for driving advanced software, computing, and infrastructure support across the Business Unit. We enable field productivity and operational excellence by leading complex technical escalations, supporting NPI readiness, and partnering closely with R&D, DevOps, product teams, and field organizations to improve reliability, serviceability, and customer success across global customer environments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, networking, and operating systems (Linux/Windows)
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across computing infrastructure, software, and system layers
  • Support and operate virtualization platforms and containerized environments (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Support cloud-native infrastructure and monitoring tools
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and drive issue resolution and system improvements
  • Contribute to new product introduction (NPI) by validating computing readiness and supporting deployments
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Provide support, training, and knowledge transfer to field teams

What you should have?

  • 5+ years of experience in computing, infrastructure support, or similar roles
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with servers, storage, and networking technologies
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox or similar)
  • Exposure to containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English
