Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support unified analytics and data collection platforms using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Contribute to the reliability, performance, and scalability of instrumentation systems that capture product usage and billing data.
- Improve data quality, integrity, and event processing capabilities to ensure accurate analytics and reporting across deployment environments.
- Support production systems by monitoring platform health, troubleshooting incidents, and ensuring timely service restoration.
- Collaborate with product teams, analytics stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering groups to deliver common and reusable platform solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that balance usability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Help simplify instrumentation processes by developing unified solutions that reduce complexity and increase adoption across engineering teams.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and automation capabilities to improve development efficiency, investigation processes, and documentation practices.
- Proven experience building and maintaining backend applications and production-grade platform or infrastructure systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) with hands-on experience developing scalable and reliable backend services.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and distributed systems concepts, including containerized and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working with infrastructure concerns such as observability, system reliability, performance optimization, and operational excellence.
- Exposure to technologies such as Kubernetes, ClickHouse, NATS, data pipelines, or similar large-scale data processing platforms is highly desirable.
- Understanding of data quality principles and experience supporting systems that process high-volume event or instrumentation data.
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders in highly cross-functional and distributed environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Interest in open-source technologies and modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
