What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll oversee the full recruitment process while helping build a strong pipeline of qualified caregivers and nurses.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit, source, and hire Home Health Aides (HHAs), LPNs, and RNs.
  • Create, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews to identify top candidates.
  • Guide candidates through the onboarding process and collect all required hiring documentation.
  • Ensure all new hires meet New York State compliance requirements and Affirmed Home Care policies.
  • Build relationships within the community by attending job fairs, networking events, and visiting schools on a regular basis.
  • Participate in new hire orientations and provide a welcoming onboarding experience.
  • Promote employee referral programs and support ongoing recruiting initiatives.
  • Consistently achieve weekly hiring goals by delivering qualified, onboarding-ready candidates.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience in home care or healthcare staffing.
  • Experience recruiting HHAs, LPNs, and Registered Nurses.
  • Strong sourcing skills using job boards, social media, and community outreach.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is preferred.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
