Serving as a Visual Information Specialist GS-1084-9/11/12 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Ops, Training Management Operations Directorate, ELearning and Training Analytics Division, eLearning and Training Technology Support Branch, located in Glynco, Georgia. The primary purpose of this position is to perform work in the analysis, development, and preparation of visual information products in support of the FLETC's various training and administrative programs. Typical duties include: Planning and providing visual art and information products and services for a diverse group of clients to include the FLETC divisions, the FLETC Partner Organizations, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and a wide variety of other federal agencies. Coordinating each graphics request from inception to completion utilizing talent and skills, plus the personnel and resources available within the branch and those available from contractors and/or other organizational elements of the federal government. Ensuring that all developed products and services comply with Section 508 requirements, copyright requirements, and provides consultation to the client to resolve any discrepancies, as required. Providing counsel, expertise, and assistance to co-workers as a subject matter expert on traditional and computer graphics projects as workload requires and recommends improved processes in the areas of design and production.
