Environmental Control Operator, Mid Shift
Role responsibilities
The Environmental Control Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating waste water and air scrubbing systems, ensuring they are maintained at the required performance level. This includes adding chemicals, checking pH ranges, and maintaining chemical inventory reports.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete Chemical Safe Handling and Operations Training within the first six months. They should also be capable of working in a chemical environment and have current HAZWOPER training or the ability to become certified within six months of hire.
