Accountabilities:
- Conduct customer, user, and market research to identify opportunities and translate insights into product strategies, roadmaps, and technical initiatives.
- Evaluate and prioritize product opportunities based on customer value, business impact, technical complexity, architecture considerations, and engineering capacity.
- Lead discovery, planning, and delivery of complex technical initiatives including integrations, APIs, cloud-native applications, and platform enhancements.
- Own and continuously improve the product backlog by creating clear user stories, acceptance criteria, technical requirements, and documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define scalable solutions, assess technical tradeoffs, and support long-term platform health.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to improve delivery effectiveness.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution by managing timelines, dependencies, risks, communication, and stakeholder alignment across multiple initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, UX, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure successful delivery and quality outcomes.
- Translate business objectives into technical requirements while advocating for engineering best practices and sustainable technology decisions.
- Lead user acceptance testing strategies and coordinate validation processes for new features, integrations, and platform improvements.
- Define success metrics, analyze product performance, and use customer feedback and data insights to drive continuous optimization.
- Communicate product vision, technical decisions, delivery progress, and business impact to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Support feature rollout strategies using feature flags, phased releases, and experimentation approaches to reduce risk and improve adoption.
- Partner with technical teams on API design, data models, integration strategies, CI/CD practices, and scalable architecture decisions.
- Identify technical risks, platform gaps, and process improvements while driving initiatives that increase efficiency and product quality.
- Act as the internal product owner for platform capabilities, ensuring shared infrastructure such as APIs, identity systems, CI/CD, and developer tools meet evolving team needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of experience in product management or a technical role involving software development lifecycle management and system integrations.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through successful delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Scrum practices, and product delivery workflows.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently, manage ambiguity, and make sound technical and business decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to align diverse teams around shared objectives.
- Experience with modern software technologies such as JavaScript, Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar full-stack frameworks.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, service communication patterns, and platform modernization strategies.
- Familiarity with frontend ecosystems such as React and large-scale application migrations.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or GitLab.
- Experience with identity and access management concepts including SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience working with APIs, including REST, GraphQL, or gRPC, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on technical requirements.
- Familiarity with feature management platforms, controlled rollouts, and experimentation frameworks.
- Ability to manage technical debt, prioritize platform investments, and connect engineering initiatives to business outcomes.
- Platform-as-a-product mindset with experience treating internal engineering teams as customers.
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure, automation tools, LLM-based solutions, and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Understanding of event-driven architecture, messaging systems such as Kafka, relational databases, and data infrastructure concepts.
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience in eCommerce environments and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or WMS integrations is a plus.
- Product or technical certifications such as CSPO, SAFe, PMP, or similar credentials are advantageous.
