St. Elizabeth Hospital, located in Fort Morgan, Colorado, is a Level III Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Our hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including cardiology, maternal, emergency, surgical, pediatrics, and acute inpatient care, as well as a multitude of subspecialists across our specialty clinics. As a 50-bed facility, St. Elizabeth serves as the region's referral center for northeastern Colorado. This position is designed to provide routine maintenance and preventive maintenance of the boilers, chillers, all central plant equipment, the air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to provide a safe and healthful environment. The primary proficiency of this position is power plant operation. Otherresponsibilities include those of general maintenance (i.e., filter changing, maintenance and repair to wheel chairs/gurneys, electrical, plumbing, equipment maintenance and safety testing).
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma/ G.E.D, required
- Valid Driver License, required
- Certified Stationary Engineer Certificate, required
- Five years experience in hospital power plant operations or equivalent combination of training and experience.
