Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is looking for an Electrical Avionics Technician (USN “AE / AT” rating) with experience on the F-18 aircraft.  This effort will support a service life modification program San Antonio, TX where the F-18 Electrical Avionics Technician will be responsible for Organizational and Depot Level support of the aircraft’s Electrical systems.  To include:Responsibilities:Understanding pre / post flight activities and inspectionsPerforming maintenance operations on F-18 aircraft, aircraft equipment, engines, components, and systems in accordance all applicable directives.Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, etc.Able to setup and use a torque wrench and use common hand tools such as: wrenches, safety wire pliers, etc.Able to operate specialty tools such as crimpers, multimeters, M1 meters, Air data test sets, pin extractors.Able to remove, replace, and function check aircraft components and assembliesKnowledgeable in wire repair, splicing, soldering and wire bundling.Able to disassemble, pin and de-pin connectors.Maintain electrical and instrument systems, including power generation, conversion, and distribution.Inspect and maintain aircraft batteries and electrical components.Maintain interior and exterior lighting on the aircraft.Handle electrical control of aircraft systems, including hydraulics, landing gear, utilities, and power plant enginesSupervision of automatic flight control and stabilization systems.Detailing aircraft compass systems, altitude reference systems, and inertial navigational systemsBasic Qualifications for F-18 Electrical Avionics Technician:Have at least 3 years of F-18 experience and familiarity with inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, removals, and repairs.Must have and maintain an active secret DOD clearanceMust have comprehensive written and verbal English communication skills.Must have the ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate customer maintenance requirements.Must be able to clearly document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, parts requests, etc.Must be able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment.Will be required to comply with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety, tool control, FOD control, and all training and certification requirements.Northrop Grumman is looking for a Flight Test Technician 2 with experience on the F/A-18E/F aircraft.  This effort will support service life modification program in San Antonio, TX where the F/A-18E/F Flight Test Technician 2 will be responsible for Organizational and Depot Level support of the aircraft’s systems.  To include:Responsibilities:Understanding...
