Job Description

Assist head coach in developing a highly competitive NAIA soccer team. Assist with recruiting, scheduling competitions, game management, team travel plans, practice organization, winter and summer camps and other duties as assigned. Previous playing and/or coaching experience on the collegiate level preferred. NAIA experience preferred. Specific experience in goalkeeper training preferred.
Must have administrative ability to help manage the day-to-day operations of soccer program. Excellent organizational, customer service, and communications skills required. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
The candidate must display the highest of ethical standards and commitment to the overall success of A&M-Victoria Athletics program.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, previous college playing experience.

Preferred Qualifications: collegiate coaching experience.

Starting salary for this position is $2,750 monthly and is negotiable depending on education and experience.

Texas A&M University-Victoria is the most recent addition to the Texas A&M University System – making it the 12th campus in the System. The University was founded in 1973 as part of the University of Houston System and was transferred to the Texas A&M System during the 89th Texas Legislative Session.
