Accountabilities:
- Build, maintain, and enhance end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright across UI, API, and integration testing layers.
- Develop and maintain validation documentation, including traceability matrices and release validation materials aligned with regulated software requirements.
- Explore and implement AI-assisted testing approaches, including intelligent test generation and automated failure analysis.
- Establish and maintain quality gates within CI/CD pipelines while balancing development speed with compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers throughout the product lifecycle to identify risks early and integrate testing alongside feature development.
- Debug issues across the technology stack and contribute to improvements in automation architecture, testing processes, and engineering practices.
- Share knowledge, provide technical guidance, and act as a trusted resource for quality and automation initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, QA engineering, or test automation, with significant hands-on automation experience.
- Strong proficiency with Playwright and experience creating reliable, maintainable automation frameworks.
- Experience supporting regulated software environments, including GxP validation practices, traceability documentation, and validation reporting.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as 21 CFR Part 11, GCP, or similar standards.
- Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools, LLM-assisted test generation, or intelligent debugging approaches.
- Strong programming and engineering skills, with the ability to read production code, troubleshoot complex issues, and build effective testing infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain quality strategies, risks, and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Competitive salary range of $130,000 - $180,000 USD per year.
- Fully remote position within the United States.
