Supervisory Financial Management Officer

This position is in the Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS), Deputy Comptroller for Bureau Financial Support Services (BFSS), Management Financial Accounts (MFA), Office of Management Financial Services (MFS) serves as the Office Director, CGFS/BFSS/MFA/MFS, by overseeing and directing its budget programs, internal financial and budgeting processes, account management, and financial reporting and control systems. Plan, organize, and execute annual and multiyear budgeting in support of assigned appropriations, including formulating budget estimates and cost benefit analyses. Provide advice regarding a wide range of financial management, administrative and program policies related to budget formulation, justification, presentation, execution, and review. Develop systems of financial and management reporting essential to the effective execution of approved programs and determines the budgetary and financial reporting systems necessary for effective management and funds controls. Provide budget, financial and program guidance and instructions for the development of estimates and justifications under the financial plan, reviews submissions to ensure that they align with the approved.
