The Protected Borrowing Lead for Metro West Region, is part of the Distribution Life and Health team that is responsible to execute upskilling programs and channel engagement to drive well-informed customer conversations about protection options for secured products. Accountabilities include delivering upskilling and executing confidence-building tactics and programs in MMS and Branch Banking under the direction of the Senior Regional Manager Protected Borrowing. This role is part of a broader team that supports both Metro West and Metro East regions for MMS and Branch Banking channels and colleagues.
Job Accountabilities
The Protected Borrowing Lead is responsible for upskilling and confidence building of Branch and MMS colleagues in having confident and effective protected borrowing conversations.
They will be a Subject Matter Expert – in all things Protection Plans for the Life and Health business and be able to assess the impact to our channels for all process changes, while proactively leading upskilling sessions, sales rallies in their market
Driving branch, district and regional results – deliver presentations to sales advisors/leaders, conducting in-field visits, participating in 1:1 sessions, team meetings, specialty workshops, and rallies to share best practices, delivering skill practice sessions aimed at increasing credit protection capabilities.
Act as voice of the customer/colleague to escalate any identified irritants or opportunities to improve process, products, and services.
Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree and/or 3+ years relevant experience
Role Requires daily Travel in market; overnight travel may be required from time to time
Solid understanding of credit protection insurance & RESL products and channel processes/systems – including understanding and influencing key metrics & drivers
Experience in Branch Banking or MMS channels considered an advantage
Experience delivering or presenting upskilling sessions considered an advantage
