Job Summary and Responsibilities
Job Summary / PurposeThis position manages the reporting and analytics for revenue cycle operations, focused on developing new analytics and reporting to support performance monitoring and improvement within revenue cycle operations.
- Team Leadership & Performance: Manages a team to deliver high-value solutions for performance monitoring, driving strong improvement in Revenue Cycle operations.
- Data Model & Analytics Development: Develops and implements data models and analytics to enhance Revenue Cycle operations.
- Reporting & Tool Management: Provides accurate and actionable reporting using various techniques, and manages the revenue analytics tool while ensuring proper training.
- Strategic Analysis & Solutions: Analyzes results, communicates findings, makes recommendations to stakeholders, and proactively identifies/implements solutions based on Revenue Cycle expertise.
- Comprehensive Data Analysis: Performs all aspects of data analysis (acquisition, visualization, quantitative/qualitative) and maintains proficiency in key data applications and tools (Google Suite, SQL, Epic Clarity).
- Process Improvement & Automation: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, designs data quality monitoring processes, and develops digital solutions to reduce manual work and enhance analytical capabilities.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 7 years of finance, revenue cycle and/or information systems experience within the healthcare industry (required).
Advanced Excel and experience with various reporting platforms.
Experience leading implementations and 3+ years of project management experience.
