Role SummaryJoin Associated Bank as a Production Control Analyst, where you'll help ensure critical business systems run reliably and efficiently across multiple technology platforms. In this role, you'll support enterprise scheduling, file transfers, and automation initiatives while partnering with teams across IT to improve operational performance. You'll have opportunities to build technical expertise, drive process improvements, and contribute to essential banking operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate enterprise job scheduling and file transfer processes to support critical business applications and operations.
- Monitor system performance and resolve production issues through root cause analysis to improve reliability and prevent recurring incidents.
- Automate operational processes by developing scripts and identifying opportunities to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
- Support data warehouse and data mart processing by managing batch jobs and file movement activities.
- Collaborate with business partners, IT teams, and vendors to implement system enhancements and maintain stable production environments.
- Develop and execute test plans while following change management and production control standards.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base resources to support ongoing operations.
- Provide on-call support and assist with business continuity and disaster recovery activities for supported applications and systems.
Education & Experience
Required
- Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in information technology, computer operations, or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting enterprise systems, troubleshooting production issues, and following change management processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in computer operations or systems monitoring.
- 1+ year of experience with BMC Control-M, Momentum, or similar enterprise scheduling and workload automation tools.
- Experience developing scripts to automate operational processes.
- Familiarity with IBM Power Systems, Windows, UNIX environments, and data warehouse operations.
