Duties: Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to the production implementation, integration and manufacturability of vehicle electronic systems and software. On-site lead for production implementation and integration of embedded software. Work with internal and external project teams on advanced control development efforts independently with minimum supervision using embedded software and model-based development tool suites. Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot and production software. Responsible for making critical decisions that have a large impact on projects and engineering initiatives. Ability to present and defend technical engineering decisions to Engineering leadership, Oshkosh leadership, and external customers. Perform more complex engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh, as well as general industry, engineering standards and processes. Responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts across different engineering disciplines. Follow good software practices including the use of version control, change control and issue tracking software.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
SALARY: $147,534 per year

REQUIREMENTS:
Main Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Technology or related field of study, and five (5) years of experience as an EOL Test Engineer, Product Development Engineer, Systems Engineer, System Test Engineer, Senior Engineer, or related role where required experience gained.
Special Skills: Also required experience in the following:
- 5 years of experience in the automotive field.
- 5 years of experience working on CAN network to understand vehicle communication.
- 5 years of experience using tools such as Vector Suite tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe.
- 5 years of experience troubleshooting software and EE issues to narrow focus from general to specific.
- 5 years of experience using OEM diagnostics tools (e.g. DET).
- 5 years of Issue Tracking and Resolution Management (e.g., Jazz Rational Team Concert, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- 5 years Programing with CAPL Scripts.
- Computer Programing with languages such as Python and C/C++.
- Experience with larger OEM process and procedures.
