As a Domestic Sales Manager, you’re not just driving business opportunities and building relationships within the domestic market – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by connecting clients with exceptional experiences and creating memorable stays for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Generate and convert new business opportunities: Research, prospect, and qualify potential clients within the domestic market through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities to drive revenue growth.
• Build and maintain client relationships: Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and market segments, strengthening existing partnerships while identifying opportunities to develop new business throughout Mexico.
• Develop targeted sales strategies: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to create and execute business plans that support revenue goals and increase market share.
• Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing: Prepare proposals, conduct sales presentations and site inspections, negotiate agreements, and secure business opportunities that align with hotel objectives.
• Manage account performance and sales activities: Maintain accurate client records, sales activities, and production reports within the hotel’s sales management systems to support effective account management and forecasting.
• Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, Catering, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client needs and exceptional guest experiences.
• Represent the hotel in the marketplace: Participate in industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and sales missions to strengthen brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
