Location: Katowice Hub, Poland

JOB PURPOSE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including procurement strategy, RFx, negotiations, contracting, and approvals.

  • Develop market intelligence on cost drivers, inflation trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies.

  • Collaborate with European stakeholders to develop network optimization strategies.

  • Partner with logistics operations teams to support growth initiatives, achieve cost and service targets, and drive benchmarking activities.

  • Develop and implement annual procurement strategies for international and inbound suppliers, contributing to 3-year strategic planning.

  • Identify and deliver savings, mitigate inflation, and improve cash flow through continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Support annual business planning and performance reviews in partnership with global procurement and finance teams.

  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, lead joint business planning, and drive supplier performance and continuous improvement.

  • Act as the key contact for portfolio-related business queries, supplier escalations, and operational disruptions.

  • Lead sustainability and digital transformation initiatives across the logistics procurement portfolio.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 employees.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Extensive experience in Procurement or Supply Chain roles, with exposure to logistics and logistics procurement (minimum 7 years of experience).

  • Understanding and experience of logistics and logistics procurement.

  • Procurement sourcing strategy (development and implementation).

  • Supplier analysis and relationship management.

  • Stakeholder management and influencing.

  • Experience working in regional or multi-country roles, managing diverse stakeholder environments.

  • Experience leading, managing, and coaching teams, or demonstrated readiness to take on people leadership responsibilities.
