Howmet Fixations Casablanca is currently in search of a Finance Analyst. This role will support the Controller in the direct supervision of the day-to-day general accounting functions and coordinates the month-end closing process and daily/weekly monthly financial reporting. Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts, and the analysis of operational results. Prime day-to-day responsibilities will be cost accounting, monitoring and reporting inventories, standard cost revisions, and operating the budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Analyze financial and operational results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue, gross margin, labor efficiency, inventory performance, and manufacturing costs.
Provide variance analysis comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance
- Support to maintain standard cost accounting processes, including annual and periodic standard cost rolls.
- Analyze product costing, manufacturing variances, inventory valuation, labor utilization, and overhead absorption.
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving initiatives and productivity improvements.
Support inventory controls, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
Financial Reporting & Close
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reporting packages (KFI, Bridges) and executive financial reviews (MBR, MOR).
- Support fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Business Partnership & Operational Support
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and procurement teams to evaluate financial impacts of operational initiatives.
- Support capital investment analysis, ROI calculations, and business case development.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Compliance & Controls
- Support internal, external, and government audits.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited institution, preferred in Finance or Business discipline
Candidates should have 1 to 3 years directly related work experience - standard cost system and manufacturing; preferred aerospace or automotive experience
