Job Description:

•Closely work with POD  team to gain an understanding of business requirements, design and create test plan, test cases, participate in all aspects of testing including pre PI and PI activities 
•Creation of test case scenarios, test case writing and perform Insprint,SIT and E2E testing .
•Provide support to the QE lead with tasks and ad hoc requests as required.
•Responsible for designing effective test cases using Automated based approach and test design techniques.
•Leverage the existing automation frameworks, tools, and artefacts to ensure testing process is continuous, comprehensive, and fully autonomous.
•  Create Defects in JTMF/Conduct triage 
•Hands-on experience in Java, SQL, Selenium, code review, automation.
•  Actively work with Application Development team as one unified team to integrate quality engineering mindset/concepts within the DevOps framework/pipeline

Job Requirements :

2-3 years of Relevant Experience.

Minimum 3 to 6 years of hands on experience with Mainframe testing using  ISPF/TSO, CICS  online Mainframe screens and writing queries in SPUFI.                                                                                                            
•Hands on experience in validating Mainframe Database IMS DB & DB2.
•Strong knowledge in running JCLs & Procs.
•Experience  in Validating job logs in Spool.
•Strong knowledge on Host files (PS, PDS, GDG's), Copybooks & File aid/Insync.
•Hands on experience in automating mainframe online screens with Java, Selenium
•Working Knowledge OMR (Options Maintenance Request) for the Mainframe applications
•Hands on experience in Endeavor version control.               
•Hand on experience in Jira /JTMF  and Confluence  
•Experience with Test data management tool is an asset                                                                                               
•Strong BFS domain knowledge with applications such as Investments (GIC/TFSA/RIO /RRSP /Term etc.) /Deposit accounts/Loans /Line of credits /Debit cards, Credit cards, ATM & P0S
•Experience in Participating in requirements, architecture, and design specification reviews
•Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
•Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration and regression
•Experience in Working with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities. 
•SAFe/Scrum, Certificate required

•QE related certification. E.g., iSQI-SDET
•SAFe agile certification is mandatory 
•Cloud certification AZ900 is an asset 
•Graduation /degree/diploma or equivalent experience(e.g., Java, C, SQL DB querying)                               

•Any experience with tools like AWS, Azure will be an added advantage.
