We are seeking a full-time Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Development (M&A) team reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Development. As a key player in driving Lightspeed's strategic vision, you will shape and execute high-impact corporate initiatives. You’ll collaborate with senior executives across all functions and take ownership of meaningful projects including exposure to the entire deal lifecycle, spanning pre-acquisition to closing and beyond. If you are a motivated, results-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments, we want to hear from you!What You’ll Be DoingPrepare business case summaries and recommendations for potential transactions (filtering inbound leads and sourcing outbound leads) to business unit leaders, senior executives, and other stakeholders.Gather data and perform financial analysis and modeling, to evaluate acquisition viability and valuation.Understand our business and surface innovative ideas and opportunities for Lightspeed to consider pursuing.Support deal documentation, due diligence, transaction closing and post-merger integration through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Lead and support special projects.What You Need To BringUniversity degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similarSelf-starter with a sense of ownership and ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyRelevant M&A experience in investment banking, corporate development, transaction services/advisory, private equity, etc.Effective teamwork and excellent...
