As a defense mission expert and Operational Assessments Analyst, you’ll bring your expertise of the development, management, and refinement of the assessment process to work on projects for a theater special operations command. You’ll produce command-level assessments of special operations campaigning to produce GO/FO-level analytical assessments and operational planning products that synthesize complex data to facilitate informed senior leader decision-making. You’ll utilize unit input and Special Operations expertise to analyze operational progress toward campaign objectives and effects, and integrate into Special Operations staff and perform at a high level with minimum guidance and oversight. You’ll coordinate as a team player across staff directorates to ensure communication and synchronization of assessment efforts.
You’ll guide the work we do for Joint Defense and the solutions we deliver for military missions and defense mission planning.

You Have:
Experience with operational level operations, activities and investments (OAIs), special operations plans and orders, joint doctrine, and staff functions
Experience developing campaign assessments, Measures of Performance, or Measures of Effectiveness
Experience creating, capturing, organizing, and assessing data for enterprise use
Experience designing and maintaining a system accessible to all decision-makers and stakeholders within the organization
Experience as a special operations leader and member of a joint staff, and working within SOF Commands or SOF Service Component Headquarters
Experience briefing executive-level leadership
Knowledge of SOF operations, activities, terminology, and force constructs
Ability to manage processes and activities to support organizational communications, suspense tracking, workflow management, and content management, and translate complex operational data into structured, repeatable assessment methodologies that align operations and activities to objectives
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with strategic planning, and developing and synchronizing complex plans and tasks
Experience using Microsoft SharePoint and Office365 platforms, Palantir, Maven Smart System, Mission Command System – Common Operational Picture, or other data analysis and visualization tools
Ability to provide quality control and corrected feedback for submitted documents before publication
Ability to produce high-quality work, including independently and with a team, in a fast-paced environment
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
