Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.Responsibilities:This role will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of Citi by interacting with multiple businesses across the enterpriseThis role will leverage subject matter expertise, whether that is physical security and safety, crisis management, security technology, event security/logistics or vendor managementWork in the field with little or no supervisionDecisions must be made taking into consideration your surroundings and situationSituations may include; medical/urgent problems, use of firearm to thwart any harm that may come to you or your protectee, cover and evacuating the protectee, kidnapping attempts, robbery attempts or any other harm that may come to one of our protectees.Prepare advances for the protectee to make sure that all aspects of the advance are coveredThese include routes, arrival/departure points, counter-surveillance, safe houses, hospitals, airports and any other natural disaster that may occurMaintain Citi assets in working order to ensure that equipment is perpetual readiness stateEnsure that security procedures are enforced and revised for all matters related to the operation and that all security personnel are trained to respond to emergency situationsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree/Associate's degree plus equivalent work experience/High School diploma plus equivalent work experienceExperience in adhering current security protocols, operations manuals and guidesProven ability to foster relationships and interface with external agencies to promote functional excellenceDemonstrated experience in making sound judgements at a moment’s noticeHas maintained corporate assets, to include lease vehicles and equipment in a state of perpetual readiness enough to meet or surpass requirementsCan articulates basic understanding of security vulnerabilities and suggests preventative measures to assist in the mitigation of these potential risksExperience in working with security & safety technologyDemonstrated ability to follow security and safety instructions and procedures; reporting anything out of the ordinary to management and obey rules and regulations set out in delegations of duty, verbal instructions and company policiesRelevant experience in a private/public sector security environmentProfessional Security certificationsExperience working in a corporate or financial services security teamFlexibility to work on call off...
