As a Product Manager for Engagement Safety, you will drive the detection strategy and roadmap to protect YouTube’s interactive ecosystems. This is a highly technical role requiring expertise in graph systems and behavioral detection to address complex, fast-evolving safety issues in real-time. Own the roadmap for detecting bad actors and coordinated abuse patterns across all interactive features. + Scope, design, and launch advanced graph-based detection models and behavioral classifiers. Partner closely with Engineering to scale network analysis systems that process real-time interaction data at YouTube's scale. + Create frameworks to measure the precision and recall of detection models. Ensure the detection layer adapts rapidly to evolving tactics and high-stakes safety incidents. + Partner with Policy, Enforcement, and Intelligence teams to translate emerging threat patterns into technical detection requirements. Serve as the executive technical voice for engagement safety in strategy reviews with leadership.
