Accountabilities:

    The Associate Director will lead revenue cycle technology consulting engagements, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and executive-level advisory support to healthcare clients. This role combines client leadership, platform expertise, business development, and team development responsibilities to deliver impactful technology solutions.

    • Serve as a senior advisor to healthcare executives, including CFOs, revenue cycle leaders, and technology executives, on revenue cycle transformation initiatives.
    • Lead client engagements focused on revenue cycle strategy, technology assessments, implementation oversight, stabilization, and optimization.
    • Provide deep Epic revenue cycle expertise, translating platform capabilities and configuration decisions into operational improvements.
    • Advise clients on improving billing performance, reducing revenue leakage, enhancing denial management, and optimizing revenue cycle operations.
    • Support engagements involving Epic and other healthcare technology platforms, including Oracle Health, Meditech Expanse, and athenahealth.
    • Manage engagement teams across multiple workstreams, ensuring quality delivery, effective execution, and client satisfaction.
    • Build and maintain executive client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional consulting support.
    • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, industry events, and thought leadership initiatives.
    • Develop and mentor consulting professionals by providing coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
    • Stay informed on healthcare technology trends, regulatory changes, and emerging solutions that impact revenue cycle operations.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare technology consulting leader with strong Epic revenue cycle expertise and a proven ability to advise executives, lead complex engagements, and deliver measurable improvements. This individual combines technical knowledge, consulting capabilities, and strong relationship-building skills.

      • 8-12 years of combined experience in healthcare IT consulting, EHR implementation, revenue cycle operations, or related technology environments.
      • Significant Epic revenue cycle experience, including expertise with modules such as Resolute HB, Resolute PB, Charge Router, Grand Central, or Prelude.
      • Epic certification in one or more relevant revenue cycle modules and at least three years of experience working in Epic revenue cycle environments.
      • Experience with additional healthcare platforms such as Oracle Health, Meditech Expanse, or athenahealth is preferred.
      • Proven experience managing complex client engagements with executive-level stakeholder interaction.
      • Strong understanding of revenue cycle performance metrics, including denial rates, clean claim rates, accounts receivable performance, and collection metrics.
      • Knowledge of healthcare billing requirements, payer regulations, CMS guidelines, prior authorization workflows, and value-based care models.
      • Experience leading and developing consulting teams across multiple workstreams.
      • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
      • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business recommendations.
      • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in health informatics, business administration, public health, or a related field is a plus.
      • Experience with healthcare digital transformation, AI integration, analytics strategy, or technology modernization initiatives is preferred.
